As some of you may know, Max writes comic verse, a lot of which he publishes on the now-incredibly-famous Peculiar Poetry website.
The three TOP, FABULOUS, BEST-SELLING poets on the site have been recruited to turn out a stunning collection of HILARIOUS comic verse this Xmas, which is called, fittingly, The Peculiar Poetry Book of Christmas Verse.
It is only available on Kindle presently, at the ridiculously cheap sum of £2.15 in the UK, or $2.99 in the US.
All three poets have very different styles, so it literally does have something for every taste. Here’s the link for you to go read up on it, and while you’re there you can check out all their free poems on-line.
YIPEE! A book abusing the saccharin sentimentality of Xmas – order me two!!!
That’s about it. I’ll just mention that Delaney will be being withdrawn at the end of the year for a refit, since the ‘Finish this novel’ competition was a wash-out, with not a single entry. Not one. Where are all these wannabe authors allegedly dying for a publishing contract? Ah well…
Anyway, all editions are being withdrawn, and I think we only sold about 20 of them in paper, same on Kindle, so the paper edition will be my rarest book, I think. Although the dog edition of Volume 2 did very few sales, I’m pretty sure it topped thirty or so. Maybe more, but nothing like Personal Jesus, of course. That was the safe choice and only the real hard-core DANNY fans stuck their necks out for the dog. Always preferred the quotes in that one too. Shame. Either way, Delaney is a rare book and about to get a whole lot rarer – I warn you now. Don’t let’s have a repeat of the I’ll Be Your Dog fiasco, children. Once it’s gone, it’s gone.
Right, I’m done. ‘Night.
